In-Office Whitening

Opalescene BOOST Whitening

PROCEDURE

Bleaching procedures performed in the dentist’s office involve a few different or additional steps — namely, that a protective gel or guard is positioned over the gums before the bleaching agent is applied, the bleaching agent is applied directly to the teeth for 3, 20 minute sessions.

Differences between in-office bleaching and the at-home/over-the-counter tray-based alternative:

  • Strength of bleaching agent
  • Additional protective measures
  • Speed of bleaching process
  • Costs
  • Supervised vs Unsupervised
